OroVerde tropical rainforest foundation was founded 1989 by renowned economists and scientists. Recognized as a non-profit organization, it focuses on contributing to the protection and preservation of the tropical rainforest, by carrying out preservation projects and cooperative efforts with local organizations in project countries, as well as environmental education projects and informative work in Germany.
